Cambridge Curriculum

Learning that builds, connects, and prepares

From early language and number confidence to deeper subject understanding and Year 11 preparation, every stage has a clear purpose.

Curriculum overview

Children should understand more, not simply remember more.

Our curriculum follows a deliberate progression. Early language, number sense, curiosity, and social confidence become the foundation for subject knowledge, reasoning, communication, and independent study.

Teachers make learning clear, purposeful, and appropriate to each age. Students are encouraged to ask why, explain how, make connections, and use what they know in new situations.

Core learning areas

A broad foundation for future learning

English & communication

Reading, writing, speaking, listening, and clear expression.

Mathematics

Fluency, reasoning, patterns, and confident problem-solving.

Science & discovery

Observation, investigation, evidence, and curiosity about the world.

Creative expression

Ideas communicated through art, performance, design, and making.

Digital confidence

Students use current digital tools responsibly to research, create, communicate, and solve problems—not simply to consume content.

Personal growth

Social-emotional learning, character, responsibility, and resilience.

Assessment approach

Assessment should inform the next lesson

Classwork, observation, discussion, tasks, and age-appropriate assessments help teachers see what each student understands, where support is needed, and what challenge should come next.

Parent communication

Parents deserve more than a final score

Parents receive clear updates on their child’s achievement, effort, learning habits, and emerging needs, along with practical ways to reinforce progress at home.
